Problem Statement

Volvo is undergoing a significant transition, with the aim to produce 50% of their trucks as electric by 2030. However, this transition poses a challenge, as the electric vehicle market faces issues with infrastructure and battery range. For example Texas, the state with the most Volvo trucks on the roads, currently lacks the necessary infrastructure to support this change.

Hypothesis

We predict that if we use geographical data to design a framework that suggests locations for charging stations on the busiest routes for long-haul trucks in North America, fuel companies will recognise the investment value due to the growing demand for infrastructure for electric trucks.
